Fatima Al-Qadiri signs to Hyperdub for debut album Asiatisch

In the past five years, Fatima Al Qadiri has emerged as one of underground music’s most unique characters.

Part of Future Brown with Nguzunguzu and J-Cush, Al Qadiri has released on UNO (2011′s Genre-Specific Xperience), Fade to Mind (2012′s Desert Strike) and Tri Angle (2011′s Warn-U, released under the alias Ayshay). Due on May 5, Asiatisch marks Al Qadiri’s debut for Hyperdub and her first full-length release.

The label haven’t disclosed any information beyond the title, album artwork [above] and date, but for an introduction to Al Qadiri look no further than Chris Kelly’s interview for FACT, and her 2011 FACT mix as Ayshay [below].
