OutKast to headline Norway's Øya Festival; Bill Callahan and Neneh Cherry also added

OutKast will pitch up at Oslo’s Øya Festival this August as part of their worldwide reunion tour.

Smog man Bill Callahan and the resurgent Neneh Cherry (with her band Rocketnumbernine) have also been added to the line-up, joining the likes of Todd Terje, Slowdive and Queens of the Stone Age.

Other new additions to the bill include black metal legends Mayhem, splendid indie voice Angel Olsen and gutsy songwriter Sharon Van Etten.

Øya Festival takes place on August 5-9 at the new ‘urban park’ site of Tøyenparken in Oslo. Head to the festival’s website for more information and tickets, priced £235 for a four-day pass and £79 for a one-day pass.
