Last week saw the UK premiere of the new Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry “fairytale documentary,” Vision of Paradise.

Perry was at the East End Film Festival in London for the gala screening, and the famously eccentric dub pioneer spoke to Krishnan Guru-Murthy for Channel 4 News about the film, his famous Black Ark Studio and how Bob Marley tried to rip him off.

As Guru-Murthy says, “You don’t really interview Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry – it’s… an encounter.”
