Yakamoto Kotzuga is 21 and comes from Venice.
He’s opened for Forest Swords, and this year released his debut album Usually Nowhere, a set of smoky, often delicate electronica, on La Tempesta Dischi. His music also provides the soundtrack for this new short film by Italian communication search centre Fabrica (where Kotzuga is a resident), directed by Eduardo Meza Gill.
‘Hermit’, we’re told, is “a visual tale of a complicated love affair that, like a blindfold on people’s eyes, displays reality not for what is it but deformed”. Check it out above; fore more on Fabrica head here.
