The Manchester-born producer expands his label with two intriguing releases.

Samuel Kerridge’s Contort label has announced its next two releases, a cassette from French artist In Aeternam Vale and 12″ from electro-acoustic musician Emanuele Porcinai’s WSR project.

In Aeternam Vale’s Live at Berlin Atonal 2014 is released on September 25, and was recorded at the experimental festival in Germany last year. Though the artist’s career stretches back to the 1980s, his ahead-of-the-curve proto-techno productions were plucked from obscurity by Minimal Wave a few years ago.

On October 2, Contort will release the four-track Stainless EP from Italian group WSR. According to the label, it combines elements of industrial, techno and classical music, and continues WSR founder Emanuele Porcinai’s exploration of the contrast between acoustic music and synthetic rhythms.

The records are the fourth and fifth to be released on the label run by experimental techno producer Kerridge, who runs a party in Berlin of the same name. The label previously released his bracing album Always Offended Never Ashamed, and a cassette from Regis.
