50 Cent’s latest get-rich-quick-or-die-tryin’ scheme is a sitcom about his favourite subject.

After the success of his drama series Power, which became the most watched original series on the Starz channel in its second season, the rapper is reportedly developing a new comedy show based on the day-to-day life of one of his crew.

My Friend 50 will be a single-camera series following Amanda Kramer, who “believes that joining 50 Cent’s entourage is the answer to all her problems,” according to Deadline. Fiddy is expected to make occasional appearances as a version of himself. But which version, we wonder? Perhaps his litigious alter ego Pimpin’ Curly? Or the rapper who buys a Rolls Royce on a whim and then claims he hasn’t really got any money?

My Friend 50 is just one of Curtis Jackson’s planned empire of TV series, along with Power and a planned animated comedy based on his childhood.
