The Horrors member makes a track in under 10 minutes using just an OP-1 synth and a sample from Classic FM.

Tom Furse is best known for his role in The Horrors, but he’s also a prolific solo artist in his own right, exploring ambient, library music and offbeat club tracks across his diverse catalog.

His latest album, Interludes, was made exclusively with his current obsession: Teenage Engineering’s OP-1 synthesizer, a tiny instrument that’s more of a 4-track studio than a simple keyboard.

To show just how handy Furse is with the OP-1, he decided to take on FACT’s Against The Clock challenge using just the OP-1 and a sample recorded from Classic FM. Listen to the soothing finished track below.
