Records stores have started taking pre-orders for the Carl Craig 69 box set, The Legendary Adventure of A Filter King. Most of FACT’s day has been spent deliberating whether or not to get in there and grab one.

The deluxe set is being produced in a super-limited edition of 500. 100 of these will come with a T-shirt designed by San Francisco’s Nice Collective, and are priced at around £150 (yep, £150). The remaining 400 – sans T-shirt – are available for something like £130.

In the box you get five 12"s featuring no less than 19 classic productions made by Craig under his 69 guise, including what many people describe as the greatest techno track of all time, ‘Desire’. They’ve all been remastered at Berlin’s D+M, and there’s a bonus disc with two previously unreleased versions of ‘If Mojo Was AM’ and ‘Poi Et Pas’.
