Oh, and The xx have a new single planned, also for October. ‘Islands’ will be released on Young Turks on Oct 26; it’s another track from xx, no word on the b-side yet. To entertain you ’til then, the foursome recently released a remix EP on the same label that sports takes on ‘Basic Space’ by Mount Kimbie, Pariah and Jamie from the band. Which, let’s face it, is a pretty good line-up.
