Over the last couple of years, dubstep label Hessle Audio (originally based in Leeds, now all members are in London – we think) have gone from a promising young imprint to one of the genre’s premier labels: putting out essential singles from Pangaea, Martyn, Untold and more.
This Friday, Hessle will take over Fabric for their second label showcase at the club. DJing will be the core trio that run the label – Ben UFO, Ramadanman and Pangaea – and close affiliate Untold, along with Bristol dubstep figurehead and Punch Drunk label boss Peverelist [above]. That all happens in the intimate (well, compared to the rest of Fabric) Room 3.
Meanwhile in Room 1, you’ve got hip-hop legends Prince Paul and Freddie Foxxx, DJ Marky, Gilles Peterson, Makato and Deeizm, and drum and bass in Room 2 with Marcus Intalex, Doc Scott, Loxy, Spectrasoul and more.
Sounds good, right? Fancy winning a pair of guest list spots? Sure you do, just email competitions@vinylfactory.co.uk and you’re in.
