Rob da Bank’s Bestival has announced a bucketload of new names for its 2010 edition.

Leading the way is techno icon Richie Hawtin, performing live under his newly resurrected Plastikman moniker.

The excellent xx play, and the festival will also host a ghoulishly over the top live show from Fever Ray – aka The Knife’s Karin Dreijer Andresson.

Other highlights from this stacked line-up include Untold, Gil Scott-Heron, Dizzee Rascal, The Flaming Lips, Ramadanman, Joy Orbison, Four Tet, LCD Soundsystem, Flying Lotus, Vitalic, Nathan Fake, Seth Troxler, Sbtrkt, Hot Chip, Simian Mobile Disco and more.

We’re promised that more names are still to be announced, as well as this year’s fancy dress theme and doubtless ’nuff comedy-related escapades.
