‘Loss For Words’ is a track from the new album by Jason Amm AKA Solvent, Subject To Shift.

Amm has been making music since the mid-90s, releasing on such illustrious labels as Moor Music and City Center Offices. Subject To Shift is his first LP as Solvent in nearly six years, and is out now on Ghostly International. The title is intended to reflect the “changing tone” of Amm’s music, specifically a move from the robotic cuteness of 2004’s Apples & Synthesizers to a darker, more dystopian vision. ‘Loss For Words’ gives you an idea of the kind of machine-led melancholy to expect, being a brooding synth-pop jam that will appeal to those into all that vintage minimal wave stuff as well as fans of Junior Boys, Hot Chip and the like.
