Now this is the sort of track we could curl up with all year.

We don’t know a huge amount about Milyoo, other than the fact he hails from Kentucky, and recently released an EP on  Subeena’s Opit label. FACT’s Andrew Ryce was pretty taken with the release, calling its “woozy bounce almost too airy and hollow to even be dance music”, and this week he helped hook us up with an exclusive download from your boy.

It’s called ‘Damage’, and to be frank, it’s bloody gorgeous – almost cheaply so. This thing ticks every box when it comes to loveable instrumental music: the dusty, bumpy groove, the chopped-up vocals, those nostalgic electro chords in the background. But really, how can you knock something that sounds this damn good? For fans of Bullion, Toro y Moi and the more talented Dilla disciples doing their thing in 2010.
