Cable in London continues its run of heavyweight line-ups overseen by intrepid promoters We Fear Silence.

This Saturday 24 July sees WFS hook up with Dirty Canvas for a night celebrating the post-grime diaspora and new directions in house and dubstep. Room 1 is headlined by none other than Four Tet, who’ll be mixing up UKG and funky with European house and techno in style; his productions might be renowned for their ethereal quality, but rest assured, when he’s spinning records Kieran Hebden knows how to keep it plenty rough.

Dubstep veteran Loefah joins him, repping his Swamp81 imprint that has recently brought us sublime juke-inspired cuts from Addison Groove (‘Footcrab’) and Ramadanman (‘Work It’), along with UK house icon Cooly G, cosmic house pup Space Dimension Controller and SBTRKT, not to mention Sampa (live), Reecha and Jon Rust.

Room 2 is hosted by PTN vs. Get Me! and features Doc Daneeka, Deep Teknologi, Hypno, Tom Kerridge (RAMP), Lixo and Jet Letts.

The night runs 11pm-6am; tickets are £7 advance/students and £10 OTD; more information and tickets here.
