To celebrate the latest release in Black Dog Publishing‘s Labels Unlimited series, a monograph on Ninja Tune entitled Ninja Tune: 20 Years of Beats + Pieces, an exhibition of the same name will open on August 20.
The exhibition, which is being held at the Black Dog Space in central London, runs until September 16 and coincides with Ninja Tune XX, a series of special events celebrating the label’s 20th anniversary. It features a huge array of ephemera from Ninja and its offshoots, including posters, original drawings, paintings, 3D models, flyers, stickers, special pressings and much more.
On Saturday 11 September, 12 midday – 5pm, Black Dog Space will open a one day Ninja Tune pop-up shop, selling a range of merchandise (including clothing and rare promo CDs) at discounted prices.
The 20 Years of Beats + Pieces book is by Stevie Chick, and follows entries in the Labels Unlimited series on Warp and Rough Trade. More information here.
As previously reported, Ninja Tune will release a limited edition Ninja Tune XX Box Set on September 20. The finalised 106-strong tracklist for the compilation, which includes exclusive remixes from the likes of Autechre, Rustie and Modeselektor, can be found here.
