Birmingham’s Supersonic festival has finally announced its full line-up for 2010.
Joining the already announced acts are King Midas Sound, the super-heavy lovers’ rock trio of Kevin Martin, Roger Robinson and Kiki Hitomi. Cloaks bring their Wolf Eyes-meets-Loefah brand of industrial dance music to proceedings from the DJ booth, while post-punk heroes Factory Floor, Zeni Geva, Peter Broderick, KK Null and Nisennenmondai also play.
Already confirmed for the fest are returning legends Napalm Death, Godflesh and Swans as well as a presentation of music by krautrockers Neu! performed by Sonic Youth’s Steve Shelley, School of the Seven Bells’ Ben Curtis, Tall Firs’ Aaron Muller and Neu!’s own Michael Rother. Elsewhere you’ll find Japanese grind-punks Melt Banana, James Blackshaw, Chris Corsano and many of the metal community’s finest.
Day tickets for Supersonic, which runs from October 22 – 24, have been released, and are available now on the Supersonic homepage.
