No one does misty-eyed techno quite like Superpitcher.

Real name Aksel Schaufler, ‘Pitcher arguably nailed the aching sound of Cologne better than anyone with early cuts ‘Heroin’ and ‘Happiness’, while also finding time for floor-filling club tracks on the Kompakt Extra label and a vocal-led debut album, Here Comes Love.

This week he releases his second album, Kilimanjaro for Kompakt, which finds him further exploring this rabbit hole of eccentric vocal pop. You can download a radio edit of the first single, ‘Rabbits in a Hurry’ (when are they not?), below.
