Once a chip-garage duo obsessed with making Macs sing, Hyperdub house band Darkstar recently transformed into a vocal three-piece for new album North.

Maybe the most successful musical metamorphosis we’ll see all year, Hyperdub are giving fans the chance to see Darkstar’s new all-singing line-up in full on the new video for ‘Gold’, a cover of the Human League’s ‘You Remind me of Gold’. In it, the band – Aiden, James and new singer James Buttery – get scanned, visually manipulated, and have triangles cut out of their heads. Sounds like a good time, right? Check it below.
