Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood label will next week release their second Brownswood Electr*c compilation.

Where the first first volume featured the likes of Mosca, Mount Kimbie, Rockwell and Pearson Sound alongside less recognisable names, the second takes things even more underground, with highlights coming from DJG, Synkro & Indigo, Jack Dixon and DJ Dials. In the words of Peterson, “we’re simply attempting to highlight the depth and breadth of the electronic space… and the exceptional quality within.”

Brownswood Electr*c 2 will be released through Brownswood on June 27, on CD and digital formats. There will also be a series of 12″ releases, information on which can be found here.
