Another clip has emerged from Shut Up And Play The Hits, the forthcoming documentary on LCD Soundsystem.

James Murphy’s era-encapsulating punk-funk-disco-pop-whatever troupe called things to an end last year, signing out with a three-hour live show at Madison Square Gardens. Shut Up And Play The Hits, a film directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, centres around the group’s last ever live show and the events leading up to it, and premiered at Sundance this January gone.

The trailer for the flick has been online for a while, but you can now watch a full segment from the film, which includes Murphy discussing his decision to end the band, and footage of them performing ‘North American Scum’ at that last show.

In more James Murphy news, he’ll be lecturing – alongside fellow New Yorker Frankie Knuckles – for Red Bull Music Academy in London later this month.
