Rhythm Section have pulled together an eyebrow-raising bill for their latest shindig.

May 19 will see Peckham’s Pool Club (trust us, it’s more glamorous than it sounds) welcome a formidable host of house and rare groove names. The major draw is a UK exclusive appearance from Detroit hero Scott Grooves. The former Inner City keyboardist really made his name with 1998’s Pieces Of A Dream, and saw his stock rise when Daft Punk remixed his ‘Mothership Reconnection’ cut. His discography includes releases for the likes of CLONE, Third Ear and his own Natural MIDI imprint. Revellers can look forward to an expertly selected spread of classic joints.

Also appearing will be Andrew Ashong, set to drop a new EP on Sound Signature. His crate is unusually capacious: expect jazz, disco, hip-hop and soul amidst dancier cuts. Funk acolytes Deep Soul Konnection will be keeping things soulful, and Rhythm Section regular Bradley Zero will also be popping by.

The night runs from 10pm until late. Tickets and further information are available here.
