Clair Urbahn has helped launch a new pop-up radio station in London.

The station, named V22 Summer Club Radio, has been set up in collaboration with James Dunn, who also works behind the scenes on fast-rising London station NTS. As Dummy report, it’s been launched to “capture the spirit of V22 Summer Club”, which roughly comprises 54 days of original artist led events in South London’s V22 Studios, who recently hosted this exhibition. The program promises to include “live events, workshops, talks and sound art installations, along with regular live shows from audio enthusiasts, talkers, sonic experimentalists, and the sounds of the building overnight … the Summer Club Radio will be live while the club is open and schedule unique radio programming and repeats in the downtime.”

V22 will be broadcasting throughout June and July, on Thursdays and Fridays from 5-10pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from noon-12pm. Even better, it’s currently looking for submissions, so if you fancy your chances, drop them a line on radeq@hotmail.co.uk. Your application should be “highly conscious of a radio format and dissemination medium”, and suggested responses include:

-live in-studio performance, debate, workshop, talk
-field recordings
-sonic arts
-experimental soundscapes
-spoken word
-radiophonic art
