Jam City was already a superior operator prior to 2012, but his first LP proper saw him step up his game to another level entirely. 

Classical Curves – a remarkably effortless and elegant collection of retooled house, funky and what-have-you – made a real impact here at FACT towers. From the yammering ‘She’ to the extended ambient piece ‘B.A.D’, it was one of those rare records that felt like it could swerve in any direction at any time.

As reported, Night Slugs have now issued a collection of “out-takes, extended mixes and DJ-friendly dubs” from the LP. Classical Club Mixes features revisions of ‘Her’ and ‘Club Thanz’, plus 12″ mixes of ‘The Courts’ and ‘How We Relate To The Body’. ‘…Now We Relate’, which backed the ‘How We Relate To The Body’ single release earlier this year, is also included, as is an instrumental version of ‘The Nite Life’.
