Benjamin Brunn gives away his recent A Sun Life LP here

If you can’t bear to wait until March for that Analogue Cops record, here’s something to tide you over from hardware head Benjamin Brunn.

Brunn’s been working since the late 1990s, turning out fluid, accessible house for the likes of Workshop, Smallville and Mule Electronic. He’s also regularly collaborated with Move D, most memorably on 2008’s ace Songs From The Beehive. 2012 saw him release two albums: the high-concept Colour Tracks, a 4×12″ picture set offering a colour-coded survey of the history of electronic music, and pretty analogue techno disc A Sun Life.

The second of those two releases has now been made available to download for free, courtesy of label Third Ear (who are evidently ecstatic at reaching “10,000 SOUNDCLOUD FOLLOWERS”). Final track ‘Sun’ has been removed from the release, but otherwise it’s the same record as the one that hit shelves in December – a collection of cheery deep house, spotted with ambient segments and acid flourishes.
