James Blake's shuddering Harmonimix of Mala's 'Changes' sees full release

James Blake‘s remix of Mala‘s ‘Changes’ finally sees release.

Since Blake’s breakthrough, his uncommissioned ‘Harmonimix’ remixes have represented some of the producer and singer’s most talked-about material, with Outkast (‘Ms Jackson’), Destiny’s Child (‘Bills Bills Bills’), Lil Wayne (‘A Milli’), Peverelist (‘Roll with the Punches’), Mala (‘Changes’) and more receiving the Harmonimix treatment over the years.

For several years, the only way to hear Blake’s mix of ‘Changes’ was to see either of the artists DJing, but now, three years after it was originally made, Mala’s Deep Medi label are releasing it. For those unfamiliar with Mala, he’s one half of the group Digital Mystikz, and is seen by most dubstep fans as the genre’s all-time greatest producer. His BBC Essential Mix can be heard here.

‘Changes’ (Harmonimix) will be released on May 10, and can be pre-ordered now [via RBMA]. You can also stream audio of it below.
