Where were you in ’82?

4AD’s inc. (who FACT interviewed earlier in the year) have wowed us this year with their deep blend of R&B and subtle electronics, and this four track session recorded for Radio 1’s Benji B is yet more proof that they’re the band to watch right now.

Even more interestingly how ever, Benji B managed to score an exclusive from Zomby, debuting an unknown track from an unknown artist on the mysterious producer’s Cult Music label. It’s good too, really good, blending heaving electronic beats with synths straight out of Vangelis‘s Blade Runner soundtrack. More please!
