With covers album Imitations in the offing, Mark Lanegan is heading to Blighty. 

The new collection sees the one-time Screaming Tree cover the likes of Nick Cave, Nancy Sinatra, Bobby Darin and John Cale. With former collaborator Duke Garwood in tow, Lanegan will play a string of acoustic dates in support of the album.

The tour will include appearances at London’s Union Chapel and Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall, and also features a lone Ireland date at Dublin’s Sugar Club.

Imitations is due on September 17 on Vagrant. Lanegan also appears on Moby’s forthcoming studio album, Innocents[via The Quietus]
