Blackest Ever Black’s London showcases are invariably pretty special affairs – and three new additions have turned an impressive ticket into an unmissable one.
Dominick Fernow will take a break from his recent live work as Vatican Shadow and grace the stage under the Prurient banner – his first such show since 2009. His BEB set follows this year’s Through The Window LP, which ranks as easily his most techno-led release to date; expect a nuclear blend of noisenik fury and dancefloor muscle.
Someone who knows a fair bit about the latter is Downwards don Regis, who’ll be presenting his Necklace Of Bites project – a “disordered and resequenced” odyssey through his extensive back catalogue. The show promises a rare opportunity to see juvenilia, British Murder Boys work and Sandwell District material all sitting side by side. The third major addition are BEB staples Raime, who’ll be on DJ duty – anticipate jungle and hardcore business alongside the familiar industrial and dark ambient signifiers.
They join the likes of Tropic Of Cancer, Dalhous, Dva Damas, Horsepower Productions, Source Direct, Shampoo Boy, A.D. Jacques, Helena Hauff, Felix K, amongst others. The night takes place at Corsica Studios on October 12; tickets and further information are available here.
