London journalist Tim Lawrence will release a new book, Life And Death On The New York Dance Floor, 1980-83.
Lawrence’s third book, it focuses on the “combustible dialogue” of New York City’s early ’80s dance culture, from disco to hip-hop. Over 120 interviews feature, including chats with Afrika Bambaataa, Sal P and Arthur Baker.
