Gobbby, Lotic, KABLAM, E+E and more remix Dan Bodan; stream the EP in full

Underground club talents take on the singer-producer’s DFA debut.

Canadian-born, Berlin-based Dan Bodan released Soft late last year, with a tape release by the excellent 1080p. As a follow-up to the album, the electronic pop artist has commissioned a three-volume set of remix EPs entitled SOFTY SOFT.

The second volume is of particular interest of FACT readers: along for the ride are UNO noisemaker Gobby, club collagist E+E, Janus stars Lotic and KABLAM and L.A. newcomer Draveng. Most of the remixes have removed or recontextualized Bodan’s voice for more club-ready concoctions.

Stream SOFTY SOFT Vol. 2 below. It’s due out on January 27 via DFA. For more music like this, check out FACT’s 10 club producers to watch in 2015, which included KABLAM.
