The US noise figurehead returns.

Dominick Fernow chatted to us this time last year about his “different” upcoming album under the Prurient moniker (remember he also records as Vatican Shadow, amongst many, many other projects). Since then things have changed a lot – the album’s still poised for release on Canadian metal outpost Profound Lore, but it’s a radically different beast from what we heard inklings of last year.

You can hear an extended snippet below (complete with a suitably VHS-quality video), and the album is set for release on May 12. You can bet we’ll be posting more information as and when it emerges.
