Suge Knight has been transported to hospital for the third time in two months. The Los Angeles Times reports that the former Death Row boss was rushed to a jail infirmary on Monday, March 2, following a scheduled court appearance.

At the court appearance, Knight spoke publicly for the first time since he was arrested in January for his involvement in a hit-and-run incident that killed his associate Terry Carter.

“Since I have been here, I’ve lost about 30 pounds. I can’t really see…I can’t really comprehend what’s going on,” Knight said to judge James Brandlin.

Knight also stated that he was blind in one eye and had only about 15 per cent vision remaining in the other. The former mogul reportedly leaned over a garbage can during the court proceedings and repeatedly spoke over the top of the superior court judge.

Knight was previously hospitalised in late January after suffering chest pains whilst in the lock-up area adjacent to the court room in which he was scheduled to appear. Just weeks later, the controversial figure was set to appear in court again but fell ill moments before being transferred to the court location. [via The Los Angeles Times]
