Twin Peaks revival delayed until 2017

The saga continues.

The Twin Peaks revival roller coaster rides on. While co-creator David Lynch has announced, left and returned to the project, all in the span of a few months, it seemed that progress was being made towards the show’s 2016 revival (with Angelo Badalamenti in tow, too). However, co-creator Mark Frost now puts the show’s return at sometime in 2017.

“The challenge for us is to try and come back and raise the bar above what we did the last time. We’re coming back with season three of Twin Peaks after a 25-year absence,” he said (for some reason) during a visit to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. “We’ve finished the scripts, we start production in September, and that will be coming out on Showtime sometime in 2017.” [via NME]
