“Nobody should be hitting the lotto for $36 million when we got people starving in the streets.”

A video of Tupac taking aim at Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump during an interview with MTV in 1992 has surfaced online.

During the clip, the famously socially-conscious rapper is seen discussing wealth inequality and the importance of responsibility and generosity: “There’s no way that these people should own planes when people don’t have houses, apartments, shacks, drawers, pants. Even if you earned it you still owe.”

He cites Trump as the embodiment of greed: “Everybody is taught at school if you want to be successful, you want to be like Trump, it’s all gimme gimme gimme, crush crush crush!” Watch the clip in full below.

Filming has now wrapped for the Benny Boom-directed Tupac biopic, so keep your eyes peeled for a release date later this year.
