Cliff Martinez’s score sparkles extra bright.

Cliff Martinez scores Nicolas Winding Refn’s latest film Neon Demon and if the theme is any indication, this will be his most upbeat work for the director. His compositions for Refn’s Drive and Only God Forgives hinged on murky and almost-meditative, but this shines much brighter than either of those works. Perhaps this has something to do with Refn ditching the whole brooding silent men thing?

Stream the Neon Demon theme below, before it hits theaters on June 24. The soundtrack will get a vinyl release on July 8.
