The noise rockers show how diverse they can sound with two wildly different releases.

If Guerilla Toss are known for two things — it’s the overwhelming groove they beat into psychedelic noise rock and just how destructive those grooves get in a live setting. They’re the only band I’ve ever seen upstage Lightning Bolt, turning the same audience into one convulsing mass. Since finding a likeminded home over on DFA Records, the band are finally giving fans a taste of what those shows are like with Live In Nashville — the GToss live album we’ve all been waiting for.

At the same time, the band have also linked up with Giant Claw (aka Orange Milk-boss Keith Rankin, who has made a lot of the band’s artwork) for a remix album that completely scrambles many of the same songs.

Today, you can hear a throbbing live version of ‘367 Equalizer’ and Giant Claw’s remix of ‘Color Picture’ which reimagines the band in bright pop music hues. As always though, lead singer Kassie Carlson’s vocals fit into both settings with a confident ease.

Guerilla Toss VS Giant Claw is out today on Bandcamp. Live In Nashville is out digitally on June 24, but you can grab it on vinyl starting June 4 through Feeding Tube Records.

Listen to both songs below and catch them on tour.
