Multiple musicians’ Twitter accounts were attacked this weekend.

Hackers targeted the Twitter accounts of Tame Impala, Bon Iver, Tenacious D aka actor Jack Black and Keith Richards over the weekend.

Tame Impala’s account sent out a bomb threat, posting: ‘I HAVE 15 C4’S IN MY BAG AND 12 PIPEBOMBS IN MY BAG ALSO” at the account of US airline Jet Blue, while Bon Iver’s handle was changed to “@ihavelegcancer” with a derogatory tweet about the late Muhammad Ali, who died on June 3.

Tenacious D’s account falsely announced the death of Jack Black: “It is with a heavy heart I am to announce that Jack Black passed away last night at 3:37 am. The cause of death is yet unknown,” while Keith Richards’ account also informed followers that it had been hacked.

Access to the hacked accounts has since been reinstated and the tweets deleted. It is not known who is behind them.
