You may remember K-pop superstar and 2NE1 member CL from last year’s propulsive ‘Hello Bitches’ (or, her guest appearance on Skrillex and Diplo’s ‘Dirty Vibe’). She’s closing out the summer with ‘Lifted’, a bubblegum dancehall re-imagining of Wu-Tang Clan’s ‘M.E.T.H.O.D. Man’.

The video exemplifies everything that makes Brooklyn summertime worth the looming smell of trash, except most people don’t actually get to dance-battle Method Man, who co-signs her cover with an appearance in the clip.

‘Lifted’ is another entry into rap and K-pop’s continuing love affair. Lil Yachty recently freestyled over a number of instrumentals from mega-popular boy band BIGBANG for an episode of Crossover Karaoke.
