The Phonox resident goes in on his most loved records to date.

Growing up in Glasgow, Jasper James was raised in one of the nation’s brightest music scenes. His father, DJ Harri, was a legendary resident of Sub Club, one of the city’s most respected clubs. So as you can imagine, Jasper has been around records and turntables his entire life.

Jasper’s summer residency at London’s Phonox nightclub finishes at the end of September but we recently hooked up for a glimpse at the records that have had the biggest influence on his DJ career. From Didier Sinclair and Daddy’s Favourite to Moodymann, it’s an eclectic and brilliant mix. Watch above, and be sure to check the man himself spin records at The Social Festival on September 9-10
