Kardashian was in a Paris hotel room when the incident happened.

Kanye West ended his set early at Meadows Festival in Queens, New York on Sunday night (October 2) after his wife Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room.

A spokesperson said that Kim Kardashian West – who was in the city for Paris Fashion Week – was held up at gunpoint by two armed masked men dressed as police officers and is badly shaken but physically unharmed.

Police told the BBC that the robbers took valuables worth several millions of dollars, mostly jewellery, but that the total amount is still being calculated. The incident took place around 3am local time in Paris at a luxury hotel behind the Madeleine Church, where Kardashian had stayed at least once before in 2014. Police are reportedly still guarding the hotel.

According to Billboard, West was scheduled to perform his set until 10pm, but ended at 9.40pm, halfway through his track ‘Heartless,’ explaining: “I’m sorry, family emergency, I have to stop the show.”

The concert promoters, Founders Entertainment, have since released a statement about the incident: “Due to a family emergency, Kanye West was forced to end his performance towards the end of his set. We appreciate the great show he put on for fans to close out the inaugural Meadows Festival. Our thoughts are with West and his family.”
