More unearthed material from the beatmaking hero.

After unearthing his Back to the Crib mixtape back in August, Boiler Room has shared some new J Dilla work – demos made when he was 17-years-old.

On a podcast called Welcome 2 Detroit (named after Dilla’s 2001 album), they share beats directly from Dilla’s MPC. You can hear them at 3:30 and 4:30 mark, as well as a medley from 6:00 to 7:30. It’s a must-listen for any Dilla completist.
