Snoop gets political.

Snoop Dogg has previewed a new song on Instagram that includes a sample of BadBadNotGood’s track ‘Lavender’ featuring Kaytranada.

Though we’ve only got these snippets to go by, it sounds like Snoop is addressing police brutality and racial profiling with the as-yet-untitled song, rapping over the recording with lyrics like: “Trying to keep from dying in these muthafuckin’ streets / Fuck the police / From a black man’s point of view” and “Resident evil / It’s all on camera and they still don’t believe you.”

Snoop has already released an album this year – the 20-track Coolaid LP back in June. He has also been busy helping out the Canadian weed industry and making mashed potatoes with Martha Stewart.
