Another excerpt from the band’s recent film.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ new album Skeleton Tree was released last month alongside One More Time With Feeling, a film that documents the band’s recording process while acting as an in-studio concert film. Since then, the film has been the source for Skeleton Tree’s music videos and today the band have shared one of the most important.

The heartwrenching ‘Magneto’ contains some of Cave’s most direct meditations on the grief of losing his son (“Oh, the urge to kill somebody was basically overwhelming/I had such hard blues down there in the supermarket queues”) as well as the chorus of “One more time with feeling”, which gives the film its name. In the video, a camera set on a circular dolly track rotates around Cave at the piano capturing him from every angle as he directs bandmembers around him.
