The producer aims to release eight records from himself in two years on the imprint.

JoeFarr, the producer responsible for one of FACT’s favourite Against The Clock episodes, is launching his own label, User Experience.

The UK techno artist will be using the label as a home for his own productions, and has set himself the ambitious target of releasing eight records on the imprint in under two years.

“My experience of the music industry has been amazing in some respects and a bit strange and quite isolating in others,” he says in a press release, “so I thought I’d take that isolation one step further and move to Wales, build a studio in a container with no windows and do everything myself.”

If the label is a success, then he says will consider opening up the imprint to other artists. He intends to release five records in 2017, with another three arriving by May 2018.

JoeFarr has previously released his iron-clad techno bangers on labels including Bintus’ Power Vacuum and the label arm of UK dance festival Bloc, which released his debut album, Sense of Purpose, in 2016.

You can preview the first record via the video teaser below, and pick up the 12″ when it arrives in March.
