“That’s because the world is fucked up,” says Offset.

Migos have commented on the public support for iLoveMakonnen’s announcement that he’s gay in a new interview with Rolling Stone concluding “that’s wack, bro.”

The “awkward interlude” occurs after writer Jonah Weiner mentions Makonnen’s sexuality and the positive support in response to Migos member Quavo’s praise of Atlanta’s “diversity”.

“‘They supported him?’ Quavo asks, raising an eyebrow. ‘That’s because the world is fucked up,’ says Offset. ‘This world is not right,’ Takeoff says. Quavo insists the group “ain’t saying it’s nothing wrong with the gays,” but argues Makonnen’s sexuality undermines his credibility in rapping about being a drug dealer.

Update: Migos have apologized in a new statement.

Migos have issued a statement about their comments, saying “We love all people, gay or straight”.
