Sega Bodega is marking 30 years of Studio Ghibli soundtracks with a three-part mix series for NTS Radio.

The first episode – which spans 1986-1992 – was broadcast in January, while part two of the series will air this Friday (March 10) at 2pm. Part three has not been scheduled in as yet.

Listen to part one below, which features tracks from star composer Joe Hisaishi, along with Michio Mamiya and Harumi Miyako.

In November, it was revealed that Studio Ghibli founder Hayao Miyazaki would be coming out of retirement for one last film. The director has been working on Kemushi no Boro (Boro the Caterpillar), a CG short for the Ghibli Museum.
