The Bristol-via-Southampton producer is back with a new long-form project.

Hyetal is gearing up to release the follow-up to 2013’s Modern Worship with 3-track EP Run From The Light. The collection “was inspired by the true electro acoustic reverbs of
The Flamingos on their 1959 doo-wop classic ‘Flamingo Serenade’ as well as the most sinister post-punk kraut grooves of Bauhaus,” according to press release.

“Over the last couple of years I’ve taken some time out to explore new ways of writing music,” he says. “Teaching myself how to sing and trying out different types of vocal processing made music click for me in a way that it hadn’t in a long time. The songs were inspired by the blurs between reality and imagination and the need to belong.”

The EP will launch with a website made in conjunction with Dominic Hawgood of Royal College of Art who also made the album art. Hear the first single ‘Near Water’ below.
