Sampling legend Matthew Herbert has resurrected his Wishmountain alias for Tesco, a new album entirely sampled from the 10 best selling items in Tesco supermarkets (track titles include ‘Lucozade’ and ‘Dairy Milk’).

FACT TV caught up with the Accidental Records boss to talk about the new record, the controversy caused by his previous album One Pig (an album sampled from noises made in a pig’s lifetime – although Herbert, who raised the pig, wasn’t allowed to record the death, he did record sounds from a Heston Blumenthal-helmed banquet where it was cooked), and why you can never truly control life.
