JETS is a new project from Jimmy Edgar [above, right] and Machinedrum [left].

Even prior to this collaboration Edgar and Machinedrum’s solo careers shared similarities: both artists released early material on Miami’s Merck Records, both now live in Berlin following time in New York, and both have found recent homes on UK labels (Machinedrum on LuckyMe and Hotflush, Edgar on Hotflush).

As they explained to FACT TV after their set at Do Not Disturb, W Hotels’ recent collaboration with Boiler Room, the JETS project has been in the pipeline for quite some time, and they don’t intend for it to go away any time soon. You can also catch Machinedrum in London this Friday.
