Here’s an unreleased track from the sessions for Frank Ocean’s Grammy-bait channel ORANGE. 

Rap-Up, via Pitchfork, have pointed the way towards some unheard material recorded at the same time as Ocean’s banner LP. ‘Eyes Like Sky’ is a guitar-led AM radio number, notable for some familiar lyrical tics (narrative storytelling, the sea) and an anguished performance.

The singer has also uploaded footage of the rehearsal for his shaky but endearing Grammys performance onto his Tumblr. It’s a much more confident rendition than the main event – click below to watch.

Depeche Mode’s Dave Gahan revealed last week that Ocean has recorded a track with the band’s Martin Gore. Ocean is apparently “10, 11 songs” into his next LP, with production confirmed from Danger Mouse and Pharrell Williams.
